Add to this combustible mix Emma’s community service begins at GH, Joss tracks Professor Dalton to the GH Lab, Natalia’s ex-husband secret exposed, Kai’s cutting-edge surgery decision, Brook Lynn and Chase’s big decision, and the Jordan-Isaiah possible breakup over her new job, Trina’s voicing her opinion about Kai’s risky surgery is to no avail; she vows to support him. A Wonderful Birthday Celebration for Dante brings the Corinthos Family together, and the anticipation of Rocco’s Big Debate. The Nurses Ball preparations continue working in the background. Read on to learn more about the Port Charles happenings.

Sonny asks why they want his property. He thought Laura stopped Drew, Sidwell and Ezra Boyle from coming after his property. She did, but still won't stop. Now it's been decided to let the people of Port Charles vote on where the esplanade should be located.
Portia tells Trina she can't tell her anything about Kai’s new prospective surgical procedure. Trina tells her Mom that her feelings for Kai have nothing to do with her feelings for Spencer. Portia can't tell her if she recommends the surgery. Portia tells her it's Kai's decision to make.
Ava tells Ric she actually bribed the impound yard mechanics to move his car to her museum storage area. They are telling anyone who comes looking for it that it's gone through the crusher. Ava believes Alexis will take the deal, and restore her divorce settlement. She gave her 24 hours to decide. If Alexis does return her money, she will be guilty of embezzling the Cassadine Estate. Kai comes to Portia’s Office so they can discuss her review of the surgery procedure. She's surprised Drew even heard of that progressive, cutting-edge surgery. Portia tells Kai she can't recommend the surgery. Kai still decides to risk the surgery.
Trina tells Kai she believes the surgery is risky but will support him. Davis Girls’ Night is back. Alexis decides not to sign the involuntary commitment paperwork to commit Kristina. Laura and Sonny give their grandson accolades as he finishes his speech. Sonny says he's as good a public speaker as his Grandmother. Laura and Sonny give him advice. She later recruits Chase, and asks what song he will be singing for his Nurses Ball performance. Lois and Chase reconnect. Chase is happy she’s returned. Joss and Emma attend the Environmental Physics class. Professor Dalton offers Emma a summer research assistant job. Lucky brings Liz home. Everyone welcomes her home. Amy came to become her home nurse. They tricked her into leaving, and Lucky volunteers to care for Liz. He tells her she can’t get rid of him.
Alexis took the deal, and restored all of Ava's divorce settlement into a Swiss Bank account. She begins embezzling from the Cassadine Estate. Ava asks for additional funds to keep quiet about Kristina trying to kill her, and almost killing Ric and Liz. Dante and Kristina discuss moving on after suffering from trauma. Laura authorizes a referendum allowing the people of Port Charles to vote on the esplanade location. Ezra tells everyone the other piers are owned by the mob boss, Sonny Corinthos. She asks him to stop questioning her, because she doesn’t want to lie to him. Diane is taken by surprise when Sonny asks Marco why he didn’t use his father’s last name, Sidwell. Jason later questions Marco about his background and why he wanted to work at Diane’s law firm. Tracy meets with Sidwell because he's a Deception supplier. Sidwell says they both care about their families. He also shares that they both want to get rid of Sonny Corinthos.
Diane and Sonny discuss the upcoming referendum vote. He says Laura opened the door for all his enemies to come after him. Diane tells Sonny he has to convince the people of Port Charles to support him. She says he could publicize his benefactor contributions. Diane says this is a referendum on him.
Dante’s Birthday Celebration at Sonny’s House. All the younger family members attend along with Olivia, Lulu, Kristina, Gio and Lois. Felicia asks Carly to talk to Sonny and get him to accept the vote on the esplanade location if it goes against him. If the people choose to take his piers through eminent domain. Carly will think about it.
Alexis, Carly and Lucas find out Marco’s Father is Jenz Sidwell. Alexis and Diane will discuss whether to rescind Marco’s job offer. Lucas is not unsure if he’ll pursue a relationship with Marco. He can take her back to the Quartermaine’s House on his horse, Hades. Molly reluctantly accepts a ride. Molly and Cody look cute riding off into the sunset together.
Sonny overhears Rocco and Dante talking about the social media backlash Sonny is getting after Laura’s referendum announcement. Rocco doesn’t want to go to his debate and draw all that negative attention to his grandparents. Sonny decides not to attend the debate, and asks Dante to record it for him. Chase and Brook Lynn decide to adopt a child, an older one. Jordan reviews Sidwell’s job offer, and asks what exactly he wants her job to be. He’s not concerned with the job title, just wants her to lobby for his best interest with the leaders of Port Charles. Those leaders include Congressman Drew Cain, because he’s influential and Sidwell says a connection with him can help him. Jordan tells Sidwell he can’t pay her enough to smooze Drew. She will review his job offer and give him an answer. Sonny tells Carly about his heart condition, and who else knows. She tells him she will go with him to get his surgery next week.

It will become dangerous for him, his family and Port Charles. Joss goes to the ER to have her ankle checked. Isaiah x-rays it and gives her the results. He found she injured it twice, and asked how she did that. She lies and tells him it was done while she was at Easter Island. He wraps it, prescribes 6 weeks of physical therapy (pt), and recommends she stay off her ankle for a while. Sidwell tells everyone about Natalia being his ex-wife. He tells Lucy he wants full transparency with his Deception partners. Natalia is caught off guard as he turns her new life to shambles. He found out she sold out to Sidwell, and wants to know why. Jordan and Isaiah meet at GH, and Jordan tells him about her new potential job working for Sidwell. Isaiah warns her against that, and asks her not to do it. She says that’s what undercover work is, and thinks she will get evidence to hold against Sidwell. He entreats her not to do it, and asks her about their relationship. Jordan tells Isaiah they have to end their relationship. Joss sees Professor Dalton enter GH with a briefcase. She follows him to the lab, where he enters with his key card. She waits and watches for his exit. He later leaves without his briefcase. Joss follows him out of the hospital.
